The hardest part is turning up! Once you arrive you will be warmly greeted at the door.
Depending on the service, you may be handed a hymn / song book and maybe a newsletter. If Holy Communion is being celebrated that day, you may also be handed a small booklet with the communion service in it.
Sometimes the service will be accompanied by a powerpoint on the large screen. Sometimes the service will be completely on the screen. This depends on which church you will be attending, and who is leading the service.
The church service is similar in each of the 5 churches, but you might be surprised to find that we have a variety of preachers. (You can see who's Preaching here).
As you can understand, it is impossible for 1 Minister to visit all 5 churches on the one day. Sometimes, when there is no preacher available, the church will lead their own service using various resources available.
One thing is for sure, there is always a cuppa and a chat after the service and you are very welcome to stay for this.
Some of our churches have a regular lunch after the service. Raymond Terrace is on the 4th Sunday of the month and Karuah is the 2nd Sunday of the month. You are very welcome to stay and join us for lunch too.
Please be aware that our service times are different across the 5 churches. In the main, Raymond Terrace and Tea Gardens are always at 9am. Medowie and Tanilba Bay meet at 9.30am but share locations, so it is best to check the preaching plan or contact us to find out which location they will be at on that Sunday. Karuah is usually at 11am except when Joe Kalou is leading worship, then it is at 2pm in the afternoon. Again, it is a good idea to check the preaching plan.
